Beginning in 1984 as a Project Superintendent in Florida, he expanded his role to take on varying management positions until becoming Vice President of Construction for Blythe Construction, Inc. in 2005. Mr. Cahill became President and CEO of Blythe Construction in 2010 and then assumed the role of President and CEO of the Hubbard Group in 2013, and undertook securing the company’s reputation as the premier heavy civil contractor of the Southeast. Under his leadership, Hubbard and Blythe expanded their operations continuously throughout the 2000s, while forming a culture of operational excellence and safety first which today forms the heart of our organization. In 2018, Mr. Cahill had a key role in the acquisition and integration of Lane Construction’s Plants & Paving operations, creating what is now Eurovia USA. As President and CEO of the US operations, Mr. Cahill heads a network of more than 3,500 employees operating across the entire East Coast of the United States.
In 1997, as a Project a Manager he moved to West Palm Beach to expand Hubbard’s Florida market and create the East Coast Division. Over the next thirteen years, Mr. Craft progressed to the position of Division Manager, first for the East Coast Division then returning to Orlando to manage the construction operations. In 2010, Craft served in an executive position with a Tampa-based civil contractor, before returning to Hubbard as Senior Vice President in 2014, overseeing Eurovia USA’s Florida Operations.
After working for six years in that role and helping to expand Blythe paving operations throughout North Carolina, Addison relocated to Jacksonville, FL as Division Manager to manage paving and construction operations at Hubbard. Soon after, he took over his current role as Vice President of Hubbard’s asphalt and materials division in Orlando. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its facilities to include eight regional asphalt plants, as well as two landfill facilities under the Mid-Florida Materials subsidiary brand. Combined, they now operate from regional offices in Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Lakeland, Florida. Addison’s focus on quality has established Hubbard’s superior reputation, reflected by numerous NAPA Diamond Awards and ACAF Excellence in Paving Awards. Addison is a member of the APWA, the ACAF, and several other reputable industry organizations.
In the twenty years since, the company’s operations have expanded under his management to become a true leader in Florida’s heavy civil market. Mr. Kanaday has been at the center of numerous FDOT and private development projects that have shaped the state’s urban landscape, including the I-95 Broward Express Lanes, Florida Turnpike Projects, Design Build Projects and many others. During his time at Hubbard, Mr. Kanaday has taken on roles of increasing responsibility within the company. He became Vice President of Construction in 2013 and today he continues to grow and expand the Hubbard legacy with challenging new projects in Florida and beyond.
In his capacity during that time as CFO of Hubbard Construction and its parent company Eurovia USA and subsidiaries, he has played a central role in numerous acquisitions and mergers that have shaped the identity and direction of the group, including the acquisition of Blythe Construction by Eurovia USA in 1998 and the acquisition in 2018 of Lane Construction’s Plants & Paving operations. A long-time Florida resident, he obtained his master’s degree from the University of Florida. Following his education, Mr. O’Dea worked for 11 years as a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen & Co., a public accounting firm, before joining Hubbard Construction in 1995. Today, he continues to provide financial leadership for the entire Eurovia USA family of asphalt and construction contracting operations from Maine to Florida and Texas.
He gained field experience through managing roles on projects including a baseball stadium, steel mills, automotive plants, refineries and public infrastructure projects. After working for 12 years in Ohio, Jon relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2007 to join Hubbard as the construction division’s Lead Estimator. During his time with the company, Jon has played a key role in securing numerous high-profile contracts, including the Northwest Corridor Project, which remains the largest public infrastructure contract in Georgia state history. In his current role as Chief Estimator, Jon manages every contract pursued by Hubbard, beginning at the earliest stages of strategic planning. His hands-on leadership approach allows him to be interactive and supporting of all phases of the company.
During his tenure with the company, he took on increasing levels of responsibility to eventually become Vice President in 2001. Prior to joining Hubbard in 2008, McBrayer successfully bid private and public projects ranging from $200,000 to $350 Million and was responsible for all material acquisition and costs for more than a dozen hot-mix asphalt plants. As Chief Estimator for Hubbard’s Asphalt Division, McBrayer has played a central role in the company’s sustained growth and development. His extensive experience and understanding of all aspects of the construction industry contribute to Hubbard’s reputation for operational excellence.
In that time, she has gained extensive experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, and training and development. After starting her career as an HR Statistical Specialist for Walt Disney World, she joined Coca-Cola Enterprises as a Recruiter in 2000, and over the next six years, expanded her role within the company to become Senior HR Generalist. While working for Coca-Cola, Susan earned her master’s degree in Human Resources from Rollins College, where she graduated with honors in 2005. Susan joined Hubbard the following year, and today she is the company’s Human Resources Manager, operating out of the corporate offices in Winter Park. Susan manages HR responsibilities for all six Hubbard operational divisions, which together employ more than 800 construction and paving industry professionals.
