John McBrayer has held engineering and management positions within the construction and paving industry for more than 35 years, starting in 1982 as a Project Engineer for C.W. Matthews Contracting Company, Inc. in Marietta, Georgia.

During his tenure with the company, he took on increasing levels of responsibility to eventually become Vice President in 2001. Prior to joining Hubbard in 2008, McBrayer successfully bid private and public projects ranging from $200,000 to $350 Million and was responsible for all material acquisition and costs for more than a dozen hot-mix asphalt plants. As Chief Estimator for Hubbard’s Asphalt Division, McBrayer has played a central role in the company’s sustained growth and development. His extensive experience and understanding of all aspects of the construction industry contribute to Hubbard’s reputation for operational excellence.
